This post is in response to someone who I thought knew about ethics but I guess not



my reply:

Your thoughts are not entered into our psyche. You are not someone we should look at with grenades or anything else. I did react to your thoughts but this is almost a return to the origins of all things. You're saying "I'm a lazy POS and I want to eat meat" You are just hiding behind the facade of health. Veganism is not about diet it's a philosophy. Veganism is a philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of all animals and the environment. In dietary terms, it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals." The nuance is a play on Hitch's razor saying that: Extraordinary suffering requires extraordinary reasoning....Let me ask you is the pleasure of eating someone else's body or excretions an extraordinary reason???? i think not. Health reason i think not. Vegans are the modern day abolitionists. 

I'm sorry but that's the sad truth. One to which i thought you believed. Ask yourself if you were raised to be a product, raped, force to be taken advantage of for your bodies excretions, beat, tortured, and then killed to rot in other's stomach.

 We may be just animals but we have the ability to live with little to no harm caused on to others with the opportunity and options to eat plants and plant based alternatives why would still choose to kill.You are a hypocrite for choosing this.

 This is not an add-hoc thing where you eat some animal byproduct in a one off survival situation. You yourself suggested that was vegan if the mind set was there. You no are going back on that. Which follows that you still support the Animal Holocaust, your philosophy is no worse than those you portray in history books as evil.


Honestly, I don't even know how you can write this. I should know because I've supported your channel and you've never even replied to a super chat. This whole you as a vegan thing might just have been a whole stunt to get views... You have lost my support and followers, and I will slam you all the way telling every single person i've ever talked to you about since you aren't even a philosopher anymore. and have no grounds in ethics.
To be vegan is to have a baseline in ethics and a starting point to give a voice to all who are voiceless.
