Consequently, this ties in….

Well, I'm glad that there's another state at least considering something that should be a given.  It’s goddamn inhumane cruelty, but little by little, right?

Food for thought, Maybe we should cut the tips off of human babies' fingers when they are young. This is because it is an easy way for them to grab your phone or keys. Maybe your phone fell and the screen cracked. ( well we can’t have that, time to saw off babies’ tips of their finger bones)

The slight inconvenience we humans have with our pets (other sentient animals like us) is trivial and you don’t have the right to mutilate them.

Consequently, this ties in….

We need to renounce our speciesism and strive to become more compassionate. Because we believe we are the finest, smartest, bravest, and more, why not step up and show ourselves in a better manner?

This is why veganism truly stands for all freedom and is the strongest umbrella term that covers all living creatures.

Speciesism, in applied ethics and the philosophy of animal rights, is the practice of treating members of one species as morally more important than members of other species usually due to exploitation; also, the belief that this practice is justified. The notion has been variously formulated in terms of the interests, rights, and personhood of humans and animals ( which are the same thing)and in terms of the supposed moral relevance of species membership. The term is exactly analogous to racism, sexism, and other forms of irrational discrimination and prejudice.
