Maybe you don't think about other innocent lives

Maybe you don't think about other innocent lives, maybe you don't know how to feed your body food that isn't compiled in rape, slavery, torture, and Death, maybe you don't understand, and maybe you've got an excuse for everything, but the one thing I know is we are all stardust. Just one and the same. We're no different than any other animal. Some animals are obligated to eat each other by no fault of their own due to needing to survive. We are not, in this time and society that needs to be... We all experience suffering and death the same. If you don't extend your caring beyond other humans or maybe the pet of choice, you are practicing Speciesism, plain and simple.

My family tried to get me to hunt a few times growing up and I never understood the point even when I did go ( & I still feel terrible about it) There are big +'s case and point: My relationship with food and my body has never been better since I went vegetarian at 20 and then vegan for the last few years. I just wish more people would choose something else to eat out of moral consideration for those suffering at our collective hands. We in the first world can and should be doing better. + it's the number one thing against climate change.
